“The hand of the Lord was upon me, and carried me out in the spirit of the Lord, and set me down in the midst of the valley which was full of bones, And caused me to pass by them round about: and, behold, there were very many in the open valley; and, lo, they were very dry. And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord God, thou knowest. Again he said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the Lord. Thus saith the Lord God unto these bones; Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live: And I will lay sinews upon you, and will bring up flesh upon you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and ye shall live; and ye shall know that I am the Lord. So I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone. And when I beheld, lo, the sinews and the flesh came up upon them, and the skin covered them above: but there was no breath in them. Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the Lord God; Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live. So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army.” - Ezekiel 37:1-10 KJV.

This is the day of the thanking, singing and joyous church. What God is thinking about our future. This month begins another journey in your Christian journey...
This month is the month of prophecy.
“But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words: For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day. But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel; And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:”

The prophet Joel did talk about this day
“Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I would not have you ignorant. Ye know that ye were Gentiles, carried away unto these dumb idols, even as ye were led. Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost. Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all. But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal. For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit; To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues: But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.” - 1 Corinthians 12:1-11 KJV
“Now, brothers and sisters, if I come to you and speak in tongues, what good will I be to you, unless I bring you some revelation or knowledge or prophecy or word of instruction?” 1 Corinthians 14:6 NIV.
This is the proper definition of prophecy.
1. speaking by divine inspiration
2. Divine inspiration/ revelation
3. Foretell future events
4. Divine instructions or teachings
These are the things the Holy Spirit inspires us to do. We are all prophets in a sense. Everyone is not a prophet in the office of the prophets. We might do the work of a pastor, but, we are not all pastors. Here, we are not dealing with the office of the prophets but what God wants us to do. He will rather have us prophecy. We may all prophesy. It's one of the best gifts because of its importance.
The one who speaks in tongues edifices himself and the one that prophesies edifices church. It provides direction from God. Things you couldn't know otherwise. It's revelation. It causes you to foretell. Show you things to come. Wonderful.
This month, you will prophecy. Desire it and you will have it. You are going to use it to change things and chart your course and help other people. It's a blessing to the church. The more you yield to the Holy Spirit, the more He uses you...
How can you get yourself to that level of inspiration? God is always talking, turn in. He's always on. Turn your receiver. In every situation. You can have a word for anyone close to you. Every Christian ought to have that gift. To edify, exalt and direct. You're going to prophesy like never before...
God told Ezekiel to prophesy... Yes, that's not the first time a prophet prophesy to a nonliving thing, Moses spoke to the rock to bring forth water. Ezekiel prophesy to the bones to turn into an army. It seemed that it didn't happen when there was no breathe. Yet, God told him what to do...
Don't stop, the Holy Spirit will teach you what to do next. He will teach you what to do. God told Ezekiel to prophesy to the winds to breathe into these people and life came to these ones.
Sometimes you prophesy to the situation and it seems that nothing happens, prophesy again. Be in that inspiration mode. These are the things to do...
1. Meditate on the word - to bless a group or a church or a city or nation, meditate on the word of God. Take anything in the scriptures that blesses you or ruminate on the things that have been spoken to you. Withdraw your mind from other activities.
2. Pray in the spirit - start by praying in tongues and then get into praying in the Holy Ghost
3. Talk the known into the unknown - many years ago, 1982...
The inspiration. Take with you words. They're from God. Start from there, the inspiration of the writer and you will transform and energized like that prophet and begin to prophesy. You will make things happen this month. You'll start speaking... Nothing will be impossible unto you...
